Getting started

What is Chatsvia and how does it work?
Chatsvia is an AI sales assistant for e-commerce businesses that sell on Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. It connects to your Facebook Page and your WhatsApp Business number through the official Meta integrations. When a customer sends a message on either channel, Chatsvia reads it, uses AI to understand the question, and replies on your behalf — based on your product catalog, prices, and business policies — within seconds.
Who is Chatsvia for?
Small and mid-sized e-commerce businesses that get sales inquiries on Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp and lose customers because they can't reply fast enough. If you sell through Messenger or WhatsApp, Chatsvia helps you capture every inquiry and convert it into an order.
Do I need any technical skills to set it up?
No. If you can use Facebook, you can set up Chatsvia. The whole onboarding is visual and guided. Most stores go live in under five minutes.
How long does setup take?
Under five minutes for most businesses. You sign up, connect your Facebook Page (and optionally your WhatsApp Business number) in one click, add a few products, and switch the AI on.
Does Chatsvia work on WhatsApp too?
Yes. On any paid plan you can connect a WhatsApp Business number through Meta's official Embedded Signup. Chatsvia replies to your buyers within the 24-hour customer service window — service replies are free of WhatsApp messaging fees. The Free plan is Messenger-only; upgrade any time to enable WhatsApp.

The AI and bot

Can the AI actually place orders for customers?
Yes. When a customer confirms they want to buy, the AI collects the items, quantity, shipping address, and phone number, and automatically creates a full order in your dashboard. You get an email as soon as it lands.
Can the AI negotiate prices?
Yes. For each product you can set a minimum and maximum price. The AI will offer the maximum price by default and only discount down to your minimum if a customer asks. It will never go below your minimum.
What language does the AI reply in?
The AI replies in whatever language the customer writes in. It supports a wide range of languages out of the box, so you can serve local and international buyers with one setup.
Can I turn the AI off and reply manually?
Yes. There is a simple on/off switch for each connected channel — Messenger and WhatsApp independently. When the switch is off, Chatsvia silently logs the conversation but does not reply, so you can take over manually any time from the Conversations page.

Plans and billing

Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan lets you connect one Facebook Page and try the platform end-to-end, with a daily cap on conversations and messages. WhatsApp is available on paid plans. No credit card is required to start.
What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
The AI stops auto-replying for the rest of the billing month. Your conversations, orders, and data remain fully accessible. Upgrade any time to restore replies instantly.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades and cancellations are scheduled for the end of your current billing period.
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed monthly in BDT (Bangladeshi Taka). You can cancel at any time from your billing dashboard. Refunds follow our refund policy — a full refund within 7 days, end-of-period cancellation after that.

Privacy and security

Is my Facebook Page and WhatsApp data secure?
Yes. We use the official Meta webhook and Cloud API integrations. Your Page access token and WhatsApp access token are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption, and all traffic uses HTTPS. We never store more data than we need to operate the service.
Do you sell my customer data?
Never. We do not sell your data or your customers' data to any third party. Conversation content is only shared with our AI provider strictly to generate the reply — and for no other purpose.
